To start Pilates you would have one to one sessions first, in order for you to learn the basics in an effective and well supervised manner. Should you wish to join a group class, you may do so after completing three individual sessions. There are classes in Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Brigsteer and Grange over Sands.
However, group classes are by no means the only option and you may prefer to continue on a tailored course of one-to-one lessons. Individual sessions usually run for one hour, during which time you will be guided through Pilates exercises appropriate to your unique body.
Individual sessions are available on Tuesdays in Kirkby Lonsdale and on Thursdays at the Highfield Practice, Kendal.
Should you wish to come for private sessions with someone else and enjoy your session as a pair, it is perfectly possible to do so.
